Honda Accord 2.4 VTi-L Advance now comes with Honda Sensing technology.

Honda Sensing is an exclusive intelligent suite of safety and driver-assistive technologies designed to alert you to things you might miss while driving. Here you can learn about a few additional features designed to help you be a better driver.

SAFETY ACCORD-INGLY

It is the first Honda sedan in Malaysia to be equipped with Honda Sensing and still maintains the same premium features. Retaining front and rear LED lights, multi-angle reverse camera, six airbags, a 7-inch advanced display audio unit with i-MID that is Apple CarPlay compatible and Android Auto ready, Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), and Honda LaneWatch.

WHAT IS HONDA SENSING?

By using a monocular camera mounted behind the rear-view mirror and a millimeter wave radar mounted at the lower air dam of the front bumper, drivers can tap into a host of safety features. From Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS), Road Departure Mitigation (RDM) and Lane Departure Warning (LDW). These features provide alerts and assistance to drivers to avoid possible dangers or accidents on the road.

Adaptive Cruise Control | Adaptive Cruise Control* helps you maintain a set following interval on the highway, so you don’t have to manually change your speed. Select vehicles feature Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low-Speed Follow* to make driving in light traffic easier and more convenient.

Forward Collision Warning | Integrated with the Collision Mitigation Braking System, Forward Collision Warning* uses a small camera mounted at the top of the front windshield to detect the presence of vehicles in front of you. If the system determines that you are at risk of a collision with a detected vehicle, it activates audio and visual alerts to warn you. If you fail to act, the Collision Mitigation Braking System can automatically apply brake pressure.

Collision Mitigation Braking System | The Collision Mitigation Braking System helps brake the vehicle when it senses an otherwise unavoidable collision with a vehicle detected in front of you.

Lane Keeping Assist System | If you vehicle drifts from the centre of a detected lane (without signalling), the steering will automatically adjust to bring you back to the centre of the lane.

Road Departure Mitigation System | If your vehicle detects that it is drifting too close to the side of the road without a turn signal activated, RDM alerts you with rapid vibrations on the steering wheel and then can provide mild steering input to help keep you on the road or apply braking to help keep you from going off it.

Lane Departure Warning | The Lane Departure Warning feature can detect departures from detected lanes. Visual and sound alerts will help inform you of a lane departure in order to correct the lane drift.
