New showroom will be among the greenest in the nation

Today’s groundbreaking signals the start of construction of the Ban Hoe Seng Auto’s new showroom and service centre in Bandar Baru Sri Klebang, Ipoh.

Even the rain could not dampen the spirit and the support of the guests. Dato Lim Si Boon led the traditional ceremony with a speech and then shovels were dug deep as the team sported construction hats and the guests cheered as they huddled under umbrellas.

Mother Nature provided a challenging yet hopeful backdrop to the ceremony as rain fell and skies were grey.  Guests were in great spirits and some implied that rain is a good sign of fortune for the construction. Around 80 guests attended, including: Lim Pui San, Dato’ Syed Mokhtar Bin Syed Iddris, Ignatius Chew, Chong Wai Lin, Kym Looe, Sunita Prabhakaran and Mazlina bte Mohamad.

Top-level environmentally friendly features

Doors will open in June 2019 and the 41,000 square foot dealership will be a magnificent showcase of green building architecture and the latest in customer service design. It is targeting the highest-level sustainability certificate, platinum for Green Building Index, to become one of the greenest buildings in Malaysia.

Top-level environmentally friendly features maximise resource efficiency and minimise waste, energy and water usage.  Large glass panels and skylights optimise natural daylight; combined with energy efficient Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) and motion sensors to automatically switch on and off when a person walks under it.

It will feature an air conditioning capture and rainwater collection system to self-irrigate the surrounding landscape, flush toilets and wash cars.  A green living wall will bring a breath of fresh air to workers throughout the day. While smart screens will proudly display the energy and water usage in real time to visitors.

Oldest Honda dealer with the newest showroom in Perak

Business is open as usual. The showroom on Jalan Kampar (now known as Jalan Raja Permaisuri Bainun) is open Monday – Saturday 8.30am – 6.00pm and Sunday 10.30am – 2.00pm. Find us here.
