With the new and exciting enhancements, the New Civic is set to turn heads wherever it goes. It has been designed to meet the requirements and needs of Honda customers and most likely to attract young urban families, working adults and pioneer trendsetters who takes into consideration their lifestyles and their vehicle’s daily performance.
The New Civic is powered by 1.5L VTEC Turbocharged engine that offers maximum power output of 173PS and maximum torque of 220Nm, which is equivalent to a 2.4L engine performance. The powerful engine is mated with Honda’s Earth Dreams Technology Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT), delivering a balance of fun-to-drive performance and fuel efficiency. Civic is also the only mass market C-segment sedan to offer turbocharged engine as a powertrain option for customers and this has been a key determining factor for Malaysians in selecting the Civic as the sedan of their choice.
The New Civic now come with FULL Honda SENSING, which offers a complete package of safety features which include:

The New Civic also offers an innovative safety feature – Honda LaneWatch camera. This is a camera-based technology in favour of blind-spot monitoring that enhances the driver’s view of left side traffic and provides a better view compared to using only the side view mirror.
Other standard features in the New Civic are Remote Engine Start, Electric Parking Brake and the latest feature, the Front Sensor. These additional features help provide convenience for the driver.

Refreshed with sportier and refined exterior, the New Civic appears superior and sophisticated with exciting new features for its overall styling that complements with Honda Signature LED Headlights and LED Front Fog Lights. Ban Hoe Seng Auto launched the hotly-anticipated Honda Type R in style at an exclusive Pit Party at our transformed showroom in Ipoh on Saturday 18 November, 2017.
Guests reported to the pit to see the all the new Type R in a killer evening of music, dance crews and model service. More than 100 guests, employees and members of the press enjoyed the beats and food or chilled-out on the terrace.
The mystery unraveled as the car was uncloaked – even the best moves from a dance group and poised young models could not detract eyes away from the insane looking Type R parked on stage and staring menacingly back at the devoted crowd.
The invite-only event was live-streamed on facebook for all.
Guests were able to get an up-close look at the most powerful Honda ever introduced in Malaysia. Lighter, lower and stiffer than the previous model; mixed with more power, fatter tyres and even wilder looks. Get the detailed spec here.
The guests were buzzing about this hot hatch smashing the front-wheel-drive lap record at the legendary German race track Nuburgring; a record-breaking 7:48.80.
Every Type R is built with its own serial number plate strategically positioned on the centre console, a constant reminder of the exclusive status of this car.
